A character analyis: Hermione Granger

A character beyond the world's intelligence!
A character analyis: Hermione Granger
Depiction of Hogwarts castle

Harry Potter written by J.K Rowling, which has been made into movies, has a solid plot and characters.
Likewise, each character has their own talent. Indisputably, Hermione Granger is too smart for her own good and Harry Potter can speak in Parstletongue. If you had a favourite character, who would it be?

Throughout the books and series, my favourite character is Hermione Granger since she knows so much about everything.
For example, she doesn't get in trouble as usual as Harry Potter and Ron Weasley.
In addition, she is the one who scores the most house points in Gryffindor after Harry Potter.
Hermione was selected as a Prefect along with Ron Weasly in book five - a Prefect is nominated to hard working students.

When J.K Rowling wrote Harry Potter, she got an idea from one of Shakespeare's work, The Winter Tale to name a female protagonist 'Hermione'.
From the Greek mythology, I am wondering if Hermione's name was inspired by Hermione, the daughter of the king of Sparta or a female version of Hermes.

When Rowling was in the process of making up a character's name, she wanted it to be rare so people could not make fun of a person who was like that specific character. Nevertheless, this also meant that readers would not know how to pronounce "Hermione".
Therefore, she wrote a small scene where Hermione teaches Viktor Krum how to pronounce her name.

Hermione isn't only brilliant but is as bold as brass.
Looking for the Basilik, Hermione almost brushed with death in book and movie 2 Harry Potter and The Chamber of Secrets.
However, Hermione's mirror played a savior role for her.
Beyond that, Hermione is an exceptionally articulate student.
While Hermione and Mr Binns were discussing the history of the Chamber of Secrets, Mr Binns hesitated for a moment due to the fact that Hermione had outsmarted him.
This event is mind-blowing.

Hermione, who was designated as a Prefect, excels at everything. Granger is also my favourite character because, unlike me, acheives top marks in assignments, homeworks, and classes.
I wonder why the Sorting Hat sorted Hermione into Gryffindor instead of Ravenclaw because Ravenclaw is well-known for intelligent pupils. Perhaps Miss Granger was sorted into Gryffindor because she simultaneously had exceptional valour and courage for learning.
