Back to the future

Movie Review
Back to the future

Back to the Future is a particularly splendid watch. It chronicles the adventures of a teenager named Marty McFly and an eccentric scientist called Dr Emmet Brown. There are three movies in all. Each of them has their own background and story. Shall we take a sneak peek into the first movie?

Marty travels back into time accidently where he meets his parents and disrupts their relationship with the help of the time machine invented by Dr Brown. Thus, Marty is forced to locate the past Dr Brown and convince him that Marty really is from the future. Once convinced, they devise a plan to help Marty McFly go back to the year he came from. However, for this plan to execute properly, Marty must reconnect his parent’s relationship or risk his physical form and name to completely disappear from the family tree and lineage as his brother and sister had recently experienced. He lures his parents into a dance party where they eventually get to know each other and fall in love: all that was supposed to happen before. There are also a couple of other movies from Back to the Future. This means that if you want to elicit joy from Marty and Dr Brown, you can always look forward to the other films like I do.

Back to the Future may have been made for entertainment, but the movie holds numerous fascinating facts. For instance, a DeLorean was revived as the time machine which is unusual since the DeLorean Motor Company ceased operations in 1982 — but the movie was produced in 1985. Still, the DeLorean adds an effect to the movie, considering its slick style. The film also features the consultations of nuclear physics especially in my favourite scene. Nuclear physics is required to power the time machine with plutonium. 1.21 gigawatts of plutonium! This, for clarification, is 1.21 BILLION Watts. A lot of power! Great Scott! Likewise, Dr Emmet Brown’s hair has a hairstyle which looks as if it had been struck by lightning, invoking the great Einstein himself.

Back to the Future can easily be defined as the most interesting time traveling movie. It also incorporates an extinct car and intrigues science fans. The movie also yields a key moral as well: always stay ahead and plan for your future. Cinemas bring joy, although less people enjoy it these days. How wonderful can it be when a movie like Back to the Future can be savoured with some sweet popcorn?
