Decrypt your future

Challenging the deep in AI ocean
Decrypt your future

You are in the era of the young David Attenborough and you are told you will hail before supercomputers very soon: the 1900s vision of the future is becoming reality. By the time Alan Turing had invented Artificial Intelligence(AI), our noses were attached to the blinding screens and our eyes went square while twittering. Despite the benefits, too much of a good thing can lead to a bad thing. Undoubtedly, this does not make an exception for ChatGPT.

On the dawn of December 2022, OpenAI stepped onto the colossal theatre and revealed ChatGPT to the gaping world, stealing the limelight. Time is our most precious commodity. With that said, there is none more efficient than ChatGPT, setting off a supermassive technological stampede. Its capabilities include writing essays, emails, and poems in a matter of seconds; it’s the cause of why students leverage it claiming ChatGPT’s work as their own. This is too good to be true. However, becoming too dependent on ChatGPT can result in unwanted consequences.

OpenAI is an American artificial intelligence research laboratory consisting of the non-profit OpenAI Incorporated and its for-profit subsidiary corporation OpenAI Limited Partnership. OpenAI conducts AI research with the declared intention of promoting and developing a friendly AI.

ChatGPT provides inaccurate or misinformed answers as it is trained through trial-and-error. Over-relying on AI contributes to disruption of brain development. For clarification, writers undergo 5 writing processes: researching, reading, planning, writing, and editing which consumes much time whereas ChatGPT types your essay in just 3 seconds. Each day, 13 million people are induced by ChatGPT; a sign jobs are going by the wayside. Not only can AI excel English, but it could theoretically master anything, replacing jobs such as accounting, customer services, and factory workers. ChatGPT is wreaking havoc, so taking this path is unnecessary.

Sooner or later, raging fires will surround us as ChatGPT ascends to the throne. What was only believed as a science-fiction idea will come true. If we don’t act now. ChatGPT can write better than your average writers but, like all AI, lacks emotion. The AI is unwise; more emotional writings are suggestible. Consider a robot sitting on the director’s chair. Would the robot be able to move viewers? No. Can robots become J.K Rowling? No. Likewise, critical thinking does not follow ChatGPT’s programming. Thus, if you choose to take advantage of this new technology, watch out for its limitations.

ChatGPT has enabled us to be rewarded significantly by saving time but the memorable bits always end. Once upon a time in the Milky Way galaxy far, far away, ChatGPT morphed into a Death Star capable of devastating results. Therefore, the Rebels, including creative writings and critical thoughts, are there to aid humanity. AI has proven a valuable asset for us in many situations, but the culprit which ruins humanity will embed in the robot version of Einstein.
