Quidditch: A game from the Wizarding World

Brooms to chess...
Quidditch: A game from the Wizarding World
A Harry Potter Lego minifigure

Among the Harry Potter series, Quidditch has made its fairly popular appearance especially in Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone. In this movie, Harry Potter claims the position of Seeker in Quidditch and the name: The Youngest Seeker in the century. If it was up to you, what position would you have chosen?

Ifㅣwere to participate in a Quidditch team, I would be determined to follow Harry's footsteps and be nominated as a Seeker in the Gryffindor Quidditch team. In fact, if I were to be a Seeker, I would need a keen pair of eyes.

The Seeker's job, as you see, is to seek out the Golden Snitch. Catching the Golden Snitch earns your team a massive 150 points in front of a whole amphitheatre filled with your fans. It does sound easy, doesn't it?
However, the Golden Snitch is almost impossible to see, let alone a very small chance to catch. Likewise, it travels at a high speed. Now, does it sound easy to you?

However, there are some drawbacks: as Oliver(The captain of the Gryffindor Quidditch team) says in the first book and movie, the Seeker gets many serious injuries and fouls: 700 fouls to be precise.
For instance, Harry Potter had several encounters with injuries after some Quidditch games.

Although there are many cons of being a Seeker, I still aspire to become a Seeker in the Wizarding World since it would be wimsical and exciting trying to catch the Snitch while riding a Nimbus 2000 or a Firebolt. It would also make me anxious as it feels like my team and the roaring spectators are depending on me. In conclusion, if I were to participate in a Quidditch team, I would sign up for the tryouts and get role of the Seeker.
If I were an actual Seeker, I would wish that I could make it all the way to the Quidditch World Cup.
