Why do we study history?

A key to the past
Why do we study history?

I do appreciate studying history. Studying history enables us to acquire information far more valuable than gold such as how prehistoric people lived and what the climate was like.
From a number of studies of history, we already have learnt that there was a terrible Black Plague that many people have suffered along with some very famous figures who lived throughout the ages. In your opinion, do you enjoy history?

At cursory glance, history would seem useless. Some might wonder how is history relevant to the modern society? However, many people are deeply influenced by this topic as history houses the many of the most interesting facts in the world.

Studying the past gradually allows us to get a glimpse of our ancestors lifestyle and culture and how buildings and ships were constructed, particularly through old paintings and accounts.

Beyond that, history authorizes people to learn how to deal with things that are related to past events.
As history evolved, many things were introduced to humanity: different types of music, enacting new laws, new technologies, renewable energies, and much more. Likewise, by studying history, we can reflect upon our past errors and remember not to do them again.

History is important since it allows members in comtemporary society to get insight into the past lives, learn how to deal with many situations from the past events, and always recall the past to remember not to do mistakes again: coal was popular in the past, nowadays, we try to make the globe sustainable. Thus, we can predict that the future is going to be more clean and sustainable.
